Hotfish original design meat heads are designed for 4-3/4" to 5" Herring fillets/strips or Sardine. Plastic will not be compromised by plastisol artificial strips. These Bait Heads are unique in that they have a wider trolling speed range than others on the market. For best roll and flick action, troll between 1.5 - 3 MPH, use with 1/0 Treble Hook or smaller and no higher than 40lb test line. Bait Heads have 8 hour glow and UV pigments embedded within their structure that enhance their colour and brightness at any depth. No tuning necessary and not recommended. Our Deep Rig Tackle & Bite My Herring artificial Herring Strips are the perfect complement to these heads.
